Sharp LCD Screen With Integrated Scanner

Sharp has revealed a new LCD screen that will be a sure-fire hit with business men and other professionals.

This Tiny LCD screen holds an integrated scanner which can be used to scan business cards and other 3.5 inch items, or parts of larger items.

This new LCD screen was debuted as a prototype at CEATEC exhibition. Due to it’s optical scanner, there are many more used for this LCD screen. It can act as a biometric security feature, recognizing fingerprints to access your phone. Not only that, thanks to each pixel having the ability to scan, it could be used as a multi-touch screen.

Sadly, no other details or specs as of yet, but Sharp is optimistic that the screen will be available sometime in 2008.
