Europe getting the Harley Davidson XR 1200 Motorcycle before America

Who would have thought that the all American Motorcycle Company would have decided to release a Harley-Davidson Motorcycle in Europe before it was released in America. The bike in question is the XR 1200, and is based on their Sportster model range. For those of you who know their bikes you will know that the Harley Davidson XR 1200 street bike has been based on the XR750, which is a dirt track racing bike.
It is not only Europe that will see this new Hog motorcycle before the Americans, as the Middle-East and Africa will get to see the XR 1200 by the spring of 2008. The reason for the release in other countries first is the fact that in the states they love cruisers, and the Harley Davidson XR 1200 is directed towards the sporting crowd.

I personally like classical Harleys better than modern ones like this model.
