Saitek Cyborg Rumble Pad, More Or Less Than Average?
By: Daniel Chubb | October 12, 2007 | Leave a CommentAfter seeing saitek’s amazing performances at the the cyborg keyboard and mouse I was expecting the same from there rumble pad. I am disappointed. It is average, apart from the adjustibility and compatibility which is expected from this range of game controllers. The best part of this controller is its reversible left analogue stick and direction pad. This is so that some gamers can have the direction pad closer to the thumb (I think this is what it is for, if not then can you please leave a comment telling us its true use below).
It is also has automatic compatibility with any pc game, this is unavailable in most games, due to the fact that there aren’t many controllers more programmable than a keyboard and mouse. To combat this game manufacturers have built xbox 360 controller compatibility to their games. Saitek has used this technology to build an x-mode so that it can be used in place of an xbox 360 controller.
I don think this is one of the best additions to the cyborg range, I think saitek should have spent longer on perfecting this game pad.
What do think of saitek’s newest member of the cyborg family?
