It has been reported that Britney Spears lawyer requested an emergency hearing to requesting overnight visits, claiming that being away from their mother is psychologically harming the children.
Britney’s attorney said that the current visitation schedule disrupts the boy’s development because they are aroused from their nap at 3pm on each visit. Her attorney suggested that Britney’s mother could serve as a monitor.
Kevin Federline’s attorney Mark Vincent Kaplan said that” The fact that a party, one week after a full court hearing, attempts to change the orders of the court, in the absence of an emergency or without any new facts, suggests a continued lack of respect or understanding for what an order of the court actually means.”
Scott Gordon who is the L.A. Superior Court Commissioner rejected the overnight request saying Britney, “Made a conscious choice not to do anything” regarding his extensive Sept. 17 rulings, which called for random drug tests, and parenting classes and coaching.
Now it has been reported that Britney has been granted one night a week where she can have her kids sleep over at her house, but only with a court-appointed monitor.
What do you make of all this?
Do you think she will ever get her kids back?
