Two Killed In Rocket Attack On US Headquarters In Iraq

Reports have come in that a rocket or mortar attack on the main US base outside Baghdad has killed two American Soldiers and wounded another 38 people. The attack happened at Camp Victory, a sprawling garrison that housed the headquarters of American forces in Iraq, according to the released statement.
Military have confirmed that two coalition force members were killed with 38 others wounded. The extent of the injuries is not yet know. It is also said that two “third country nationals” were wounded. It did not identify them, although the term usually refers to foreign contractors and not Iraqis.
The complex, near Baghdad International Airport holds mostly American troops but other Coalition soldiers are also based there.
The attack is now under investigation.
