The boss of Frontier Developments and creator of epic Elite David Braben has said that BioShock and Halo 3 are not next-generation games and believes that the game he his working on called The Outsider is an example of a next-gen game.
Braben was in an interview with Eurogamer and we all know he is outspoken sometimes said that he loves the 1930s and 1950s atmosphere of Bioshock and it all works well but overall the game was beautifully executed, he still stands by his words that it is not a next generation game thou when it comes to game play.
He went on to say that the Xbox 360 exclusive game Halo 3 is great fun but he also added that it was a little disappointing, the game has a few nice touches and the graphics are much improved but has not really moved on from that of Halo 2 in terms of gameplay.
The new game thou called The Outsiders will be a true fifth generation game title with awesome gaming and that this new game will stand up to all of them.
There is no word on the release date for this new game or formats for The Outsiders.

His opinion does not mean much, when it is told with inproper english. “The Outsider is a next generation game but Bioshock & Halo 3 ~’is’~ not according to David Braben.” Is, is refering to Halo 3 and Bioshock, “are,” would have been correct word choice.
Also, he is right on, however, what does next generation actually mean in his mind? I would love to know, inovation is great, but calling something not inovative is not really proving you have inovation. Game politics is hilarious. This guy sounds like another douche bag, it helps clear up some things well, but in the end it is just full of disgusting hot water.
