Sir Paul McCartney and Heather Mills are in court to start what might be the most costly divorce dispute in British legal history.
The pair arrived at separately at the Royal Courts of Justice in London, where a judge will hear what Sir Paul has to offer and in return what Heather Mills is willing to accept.
Their Lawyers believe there will be a settlement and that it could reach £70 million.
According to some divorce specialists Paul faces a total payout approaching £70m to provide for Heather and their four-year-old daughter, Beatrice.
The couple announced last May that they were ending their four-year marriage.
Sir Paul and Heather met at a charity event in 1999, and their relationship immediately made headlines, not simply because of the difference in their ages but also because of the supposed disapproval of Sir Paul’s children.
What do you think the payout will reach?
