Roman Catholic suspended from work for hanging image of Jesus on wall
A Roman Catholic has been suspended from work for having an image of Jesus in the staffroom. According to Sky News, Gareth Langmead is a car park supervisor at Manchester Airport was escorted off the premises after a Muslim colleague complained about the image of Jesus on the wall.

Glynn Platt, a UNISON official has said that this was completely unnecessary he should have been asked to simple remove the image as they had received a complaint. However Platt did add that he does not see what the problem is with having an image of Jesus hanging on the wall.

It now seems as if Langmead has now returned to work and has a clean record, but at what cost I ask myself.

This is not the first time that this kind of thing has happened, and I am afraid it will not be the last.
