UAW workers start strikes at Chrysler plants: no agreement reached
It seems that no agreement has been reached with UAW and Chrysler, so now the strikes have begun as many UAW workers have walked out in various Chrysler plants throughout the country. Over 49,000 workers are involved in the walkout that is much lower than the 79,000 at last month’s General Motors strikes.

In total twenty-four Chrysler plants are affected by these UAW strikes, however one plant in Toledo is not covered by this agreement so we do not know if they are actually striking. Chrysler believes that these strikes will not affect them too much, but they do accept that sales of the Jeep Wrangler could suffer as this is one of their most popular models. Many analysts do believe that the launch of bottom of the line the new Chrysler Town & Country minivans and the Dodge Grand Caravan could become affected.
