Preview of the Toyota Crown Hybrid concept at the 2007 Tokyo Motor Show

The Toyota Crown has now been around in Japan for something 50 years and if you thought that the model was looking a bit tired, do not worry as Toyota are now taking the car into the 21st century and by adding an Hybrid power train, and you will be able to see this for yourself as the Toyota Crown Hybrid concept will be on display at the 2007 Tokyo Motor Show.

Toyota knows that fuel efficiency is very important and they are kings when it comes to making these vehicles, just look at the Prius and also the Lexus hybrid. The hybrid system that will feature in the Toyota Crown concept is a THS II system which has a two-stage motor speed reduction device, the system also combines with smooth acceleration and a high fuel economy. The Crown will also boast low noise levels, the automobile will also come with 10 airbags for your safety, active steering and also VDIM traction control.
