Subaru releases official new JDM-spec Impreza WRX STI photos and information

Well we have all been waiting for some pictures of the new Subaru JDM-spec Impreza WRX STI, and the wait has been worth it just look at these photos and you will see what I mean. However all though we have these images to enjoy there is not much more information coming out at the moment.

What we do know is that the new Subaru JDM-spec Impreza WRX STI will be powered by a 16v 2.0L boxer engine with a twin-scroll turbo; this is then mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox. It is thought that the engine will produce about 304HP, but that is not official.

Expect more information at the upcoming 2007 Tokyo Motor Show.
