Because of all the lawsuits over the nutritional value of its food McDonalds hit back with fruits and salads and many other healthy options and wanted to put forward all the healthy living options from the largest burger chain, but it is said that McDonalds will be going back to basics.
The UK chief executive Steve Easterbrook of the company told Sky News Jeff Randall that the burger chain will go back to basics and the basics are “BURGERS”, he said that in the 2 years he has been responsible for the business and has focused on fixing the fundamentals of the business, and in reality that means running burger restaurants.
He went on to say that share prices have hit a record $56 (£28), McDonald’s only offer 2 salad options and Mr Easterbrook insisted that is the right number to have. McDonald’s have always strived to give the customer what they want for example Wi-Fi in their restaurants.
Please answer this question - Should McDonalds go back to the burger and forget the salads?
