AMD intros new 45-watt Athlon X2 and Sempron processors

The range will be from the Athlon X2, Athlon and Sempron lines. AMD have not indicated what OEM’s will be using this new kind of chip, but what we do know is that AMD will market this new 45-watt X2 processors for desktops and living room computers that wish to save power.
The new range of 45-watt AMD processors is as follows:
- AMD Sempron LE-1100 (1.9GHz/45W) priced at $37
- AMD Athlon LE-1600 (2.2GHz/45W) priced at $47
- AMD Sempron LE-1200 (2.1GHz/45W) priced at $48
- AMD Sempron LE-1250 (2.2GHz/45W) priced at $53
- AMD Athlon LE-1620 (2.4GHz/45W), priced at $53
- AMD Athlon X2 BE-2400 (2.3GHz/45W), priced at $104
