A spokesman for Greater Manchester Police had said that we were called to Terminal Three at Manchester Airport just after 7.30am following reports of a protest taking place. Once police got to the scene they could see that there were 12 protesters who were stopping passengers from passing through security.
Police are now working closely with airport staff in a hope to find alternative ways for airport passengers to get to the departure lounge.
