Madeleine’s Father Gerry McCann fears for twins Sean and Amelie
Father of missing girl Madeleine, Gerry McCann has said that he fears for twins Sean and Amelie’s emotional well-being, he although they are still too young to understand what is going on at the moment he fears that as they get older and start to understand more they might become traumatized by what has happened to their sister.

Gerry has said that it is a difficult situation knowing exactly how much to tell the twins, as it is a very delicate matter for two-year olds to take in. It was reported that MR McCann had told the twins that their sister Madeleine has gone on a little trip, but MR McCann strongly denies this.

Gerry did say that Kate and I have told the kids that we do not know where Madeleine is, but there are lots of people looking for her. Many experts believe that being on without being bleak is the best approach.

Gerry mcCann has every reason to be worried about the twins’ emotional well-being in this extremely stressful ongoing situation. Even the basic care and a positive interaction may be too much for an exhausted parent. Furthermore, this mess is obviously going to live on and follow the family for years meanwhile the twins grow up. Any responsible parent would worry sick about the children’s wellbeing in a situation like this. I think the public - from ordinary people to social services child experts - fully agree.

    This is not the point.
    The point is :
    Gerry said :

” It was reported that MR McCann had told the twins that their sister Madeleine has gone on a little trip, but MR McCann strongly denies this.”.

In other news reports it is declared he said that.

    05 26 07

Mr McCann said: “We have said she’s gone on a little trip just now and Amelie came out with one really cutting line that went right to the core. She said, ‘Madeleine’s on trip, back soon’.

“We certainly pray for that every day.”

The Guilt will never leave us

There is a contradiction here, I believe.

    Actually it was reported that.
News organizations even report Mr Mc Can exact words.

‘Maddy’s on little trip’ twins told

When asked by the twins where their older sister is, Gerry McCann said they reply: “She isn’t here at the moment.”

He added: “We talk about Madeleine to the twins all the time. It’s not a hidden subject or anything like that. We discuss her all the time.

“There is no attempt to shield them from Madeleine. Questions as and when they arise are dealt with. When we were in Portugal we told them she was on a little trip.”

It is every parents wish to say the right thing their children however to protect them he may have said she had gone on a trip. This is true she had gone away somewhere from them and is adding now that they do not know where.

We are talking to two year olds and I think if Madeleine is back before they are three Please God ! this may all be forgotten.

I feel the parents must try to be themselves and not act as I believe children pick up more than we realise. My daughter is certainly a better person for me saying that upsets me this is unfair rather than trying to be happy when not.

The whole family are bad actors to me and very good ones if they deciev me I declere then potraing a very close knit family and I am convinced the extended family and the church family will ensure these twins will know of this but develop knowing that every possible thing was done and that they were never neglected.

Come on Kate and Gerry all of us just want you all to be happy together again. I pray this will all be over very very soon.

Nothing I can say or do but I do wish M\adeliene back soon to all of you. Love Anne
