Garmin Mobile XT: New Plug ‘N Play Sat-Nav for smartphones

Garmin, the satellite navigation company has launched an , all-in-one software solution which manages to turn some smartphones that has GPS built in to high-end navigators. The software is called Garmin Mobile XT and is a software application that is used on your cell phone, it will be able to pair itself with your phones built-in GPS.

Garmin’s customers will be able to use this navigation software anywhere in North America and Europe, and will come with preloaded maps and what makes this software so special is that it will include certain dynamic content like weather reports and also premium real-time traffic alerts and there is no montly fee for this access.

Garmin Mobile XT is both very affordable and also the more important thing easy to use, as we said before there is no monthly charge so it is a one-time investment that will give you all the features that you would expect from a GPS system but with one main difference, all this will be on your Smartphone.

Garmin Mobile XT is compatible with many smartphones these include models from HP, HTC, Nokia, Samsung and Sony Ericsson.
