Over at Apple Insider they have said that the Apple iMac which has been plagued with freezing issues maybe down to the ATI Radeon HD graphics card & drivers, is this the real culprit and is the card & drivers to blame? Well apparently all you users that took part in the official Apple support discussions which we have linked below it seems this is the case.
The Apple iMac continues to run as normal during the freeze but what is a pain in the butt is that you as the user cannot and are unable to control the programs with keyboard commands or with mouse button clicks, you have to keep rebooting.
Apple are aware and do know about this problem but there is apparently still no fix for problem (no official fix has been released yet). Also it is said that many users that have updated their video drivers seem to have more problems than most.
Have you had the same problems?
