A video of the Samurai Sword available in Halo 3: Ninja Gaiden copy or not?

Ok then Mr Spartan from Halo 3 seems to have a Samurai Sword on his back in the video shown below, and apparently you need to get 1000 points in Halo 3 to get this sword which many have said it is not worth it. The Samurai Sword that is available in Halo 3 sure looks like the one from Ninja Gaiden, you know the Ninja Gaiden Dragon Sword.
Now here are a few questions –
1. What points do you need to get to gain the Halo 3 Samurai Sword?
2. Is this a Ninja Gaiden copy or not?
3. Can you actually use this sword or is it for show?

1. You need to get all of the achievements
2. Its SUPPOSED to be a copy, Bungie made a deal with team ninja that they would have Ryu’s armor and Katana in the game if they put Spartan Nicole 458 in Dead or Alive 4, even though Nicole actually wasnt part of the Spartan-II program, but that is unimportant
3. Its merely an acessory, but still pretty cool, it would kind of ruin the game if it was usuable.
