Sony PS3 40GB Update: Oh yes the rumors are back and now announced tomorrow?

Sony PS3 Update - Earlier on today Peter one of the writers here on Product Reviews published news on the Sony Europe deny 12th October Big Bang announcement for cheap PS3 which you can see here but just an hour or so later there is yet another update and to tell you the truth it is pretty sad.
Sony denied that the so called Big Bang announcement you know the thing that is on then it is off then on then off and oh boy this is getting boring now so why do they not pull their finger out. Now the Sony Playstation 3 40GB rumor is back on baby.
We found exclusive information over at Pocket-link and they say that according to their many sources that Sony will indeed make an announcement on the Sony PS3 Core 40GB tomorrow at a price of £299.
The same model will expectedly hit the US market for $399 plus there will be an expected £56 reduction on the Sony PS3 60GB UK version which will be at a cost of £369 and hopefully in time for the holidays. It is also said that the 40 GB Playstation 3 will boast SIXAXIS controller, Blu-ray and WiFi but it will lose the 2x USB slots and memory card reader plus backward compatibility chip.
Now if the rumors are true and it sticks all this could happen this month, so will we be writing about this again when it all changes? (well who knows).

Nobody cares about the BS3 anymore. It could have been great, but it’s too late.
well hopefully its true. hey if it only was 40 gigs and everything else was the same as the 80 gig i would buy it and then upgrade the hard drive as i needed it. cool!

True or not (I think not), Sony knows that the only thing between them and winning the console sales war is price.
Hopefully Sony will stat seeing some sales now
Its like a tech soap opera. Somewhat entertaing how the news changs at near the speed of thought. By the time I Click “Submit Comment” there could be a $1.99 PS3 bundle with HALO 4 Zelda and Final Fantasy VII Remake rumor…oh no what have I done lol
This is good news for me I just want to play PS3 games I dont give a hoot a backwards compatablity I want to play next gen games not PS2 games I can see how this may hurt PS2 owners but I didnt buy my Wii for backwards copatablity I got it for Wii games I’ll take a PS3 over a XBOX 360 any day
