The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department has arrested a man in connection with the break-in of the Indiana Jones production offices on the Universal lot.
The break-in at the Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull production offices on the Universal lot resulted in the loss of 2,500 production photos, the 400-page production budget for the film and possible scripts and hard drives.
The thief then tried to offer the goods to a couple of online entertainment websites for a cost of $2000. Officers posing as potential buyers arrested the man on suspicion of receiving stolen property.
The Sheriff’s spokesman Steve Whitmore has said,
“He is on what is known as parole hold. […] We believe there’s more people involved and don’t want to release the name until this plays out,”
