(Wow) Was the first impression I had when I come across this nifty satellite navigation system.
The top company Navman unveiled a device which allows you to find somewhere simply from a photograph. How good is that!
Any driver that travels a lot will welcomes any new ideas that will help that long journey go quicker. This new idea might seem as if it will complicate things but your wrong.
Navman have developed a new feature that allows you to use a picture to reach your destination of your choice by using software called NavPix, you use your satnav to take a photograph of a place; a landmark, a station, a restaurant for example, and the image and location will be stored and next time you need to find that place, you click the picture and get directions back.
Also if you visit Navpix website you can download an image from the website and then let your satnav be your guide it doesn’t have to be a place you have been before.
Charles Smith, from Navman, said: “People think visually and if you find somewhere slightly remote or off the beaten track that you want to share with other people it’s a great way of doing it.
“Immediately people can see what they’re meant to be looking at. So if it’s a picture of a tourist attraction in Cornwall people can see it.”
