Doctor Who Screenwriter Hired For Tintin Adaptation

Steve Moffatt, the British screenwriter behind Doctor Who and Coupling, has been hired to write a big-screen adaptation of the popular comic strip The Adventures of TinTin for DreamWorks.

Both Steven Spielberg and Peter Jackson have signed on to direct three films based on Georges Remi’s Belgian. Rumour has it that Steven Spielberg has spent the last 25 years trying to get the film rights to the series. The film will be made using 3D performance capture technology.
