Charlotte Church Warned Not To Sleep Next To Her Baby

Apparently Charlotte Church has been warned by experts that she should not sleep in the same bed as her newborn baby because she is putting her in danger by doing so.

Charlotte gave birth to daughter Ruby Megan at her home in Wales last month, and revealed that she likes sleeping next to her and boyfriend Gavin Henson’s child.

Charlotte said that “Gavin was worried about me rolling over and smothering her but I think it’s instinctive I wouldn’t. The baby’s in front of me and Gavin cuddles up behind me because that’s the only way I can sleep.”

The director of the Foundation for the Study of Infant Deaths Joyce Epstein has expressed her concerns over the revelations, saying that “When we heard Charlotte was sharing a bed with her baby, we wanted to make sure she was making an informed decision about the risks. We have supplied her with the relevant information. All our advice is based on proven research and it’s important that parents are aware of all the risks.”
