dillon you know nothing… voyager is about the same size, but isnt as wide, and since VCAST gets content through a music large provider other than just it self the libraries are near equal (itunes doesn’t have exclusive rights on record companies)… can you watch live streaming TV on your iphone? didn’t think so… although AT&T has a 3G network too, the content is from a third party, and takes longer to connect to than VCAST which is a small embedded app that allows downloading of simpler files without the interface needing to be reloaded every single time and are also housed on in network servers so the phone won’t have to re-authenticate moving from service to service, thus a much faster experience, as well as the fact that Verizon has the largest connectability because it connects with every single provider’s towers (without the problem/hassle/expense of roam), meaning the best network… and I forgot to mention the texting on the iphone has got to be painful if not just down right annoying… also LG is the manufacturer of the Voyager, LG has much more experiece in the phone business, like 20 phones up and runing well and apple has 1 who is more local info than connected… last thought, one of your arguments was that the iphone allows mod apps – lets not forget that with “outside” apps security is a problem, and apple doesn’t have a mobile app registration network for digital signatures – its all open, like a computer. the apps that you can have on ur VZW phone are 100% secure, iphones are open for attack, especially considering the fact that the apps are created and maintained by third-parties of apple, so if one of them should be compromised thousands of phones could be compromised, as well as the identitys of the people using that app… oh and, as you can see they are easy to hack due to this fact.

PS – those mods are nothing, they changed the icons and scroll… wow… it still can’t text worth crap and i still don’t see streaming tv or other content

VOYAGER COMEING OUT IN DECEMBER!

I love my iPhone but my service sucks and Im thinking about letting go of ATT and go back to Verizon when LG® Voyager® comes out.

All this back and forth is silly. I have had an LG9800 for 2 years (The V), and I love it. That said, it does NOT run Safari… and neither will The Voyager, which is the successor to the EnV. Hello?? a REAL web browser with a BIG scratch-resistant screen? The display on iPhone is unreal—hands down the slickest display of any phone on the market. The GUI is awe-inspiring. Have you USED one of these iPhones?? The touch screen GUI is incredible. Nothing anyone else offers or will offer in the near future will be as slick. Hello… it’s running Linux… *L* Please… The iPhone embarrasses this thing in terms of web capability, my #1 app for a device in my pocket. Sadly, everyone I know has Verizon, and the free Verizon cell–to-cell is too good to give up. Besides, the iphoneplans absolutely suck. They are a fortune.

im smarter? wow? dude, you can add freakin NES games to your iphone, you can add many toys, and many other funs things to play with. vcast blows, i would know, considering i have two verizon phones. can you tell me what are you going to “stream live” that you need that bad? seriously, it sucks, its all pixely and crap. the iphone is 100% scratch resistant to any normal enviroments and is an all around better phone. and i have a moto Q and an enV and i can say that i text atleast 20 wpm faster on the iphone than both the env and q, you just have to get used to it. the auto correction is unbelievable.

voyager blows, iphone rocks. its just how its going to be, accept it.

the only phone id take besides an iphone is a sidekick lx, those are almost as nice as iphones.

The Voyager from what I have heard is due to come out this month, possibly around the holiday season. I have also found out that the price range for this phone will be around 400 to 500 dollars without a 2yr contract with verizon, the other name for the voyager is being called the LGVX10000

The voyager will be coming out in about 15 days or so. It’s gonna be about $250 or so. Although I would rather go with Tmobile because they have a much better selection only because they have GSM.

Wow, I love the new phones Verizon have produced as a sales representative I get to see the phones before the public they are great phones. They look cool and you will be the hottest person with the hottest phones. The iPhones from cingular break very easily and these phones are very durable. The juke is a hot new creation as well, beat that cingular!! excuse me AT&T

After having the iphone and the AT&T service for three months I gave up on it. Don’t get me wrong the iphone is great phone and apple has set a new standard for phones today, but At&T service absolutely sucks. AT&T says they have the fewest dropped calls, but until I switched to them I never got so many dropped calls!!! As well as their service being poop their plans are very pricey and have limited add on features. Tomorrow my new voyager is coming in and I’m very excited to see which device I like more. Un till then I don’t think we should pass judgment since we haven’t had the hands on experience with the voyager.

the internet will work pretty good with any website, as its full html (just like iphone) but, its a little jumpy and sketchy. its not smooth like the iphone, and you have to press the screen hard as hell.

I have the voyager and its hella nice.. I don’t know what all this talk about the iPhone is, its a piece of crap with an “awesome” battery.. yea right. The Voyager is about $350 (you get a $50 rebate) with a 2-yr contract with Verizon (plus if u have credit to update ur phone, its even cheaper, I got it for $220).. its so worth it!!!
