Official Recall of Canon PowerShot A650 IS in China, US yet to issue a statement

Apparently the Canon digital camera has been recalled due to a defect that allows light to leak through the body and cause image problems when shooting in sunny conditions.
Now I bet many consumers with the PowerShot A650 have been thinking it was them who was not taking the photo right (I guess most times it’s not a hardware fault), but this time it sure is.
Although it’s not confirmed, expect other areas of the world to issue recalls soon.
