Better In A Sesame Street Christmas Carol or Deck the Halls?

Kristi Dawn Chenoweth was born on July 24th 1968. She is an award winning musical theatre actress as well as being a singer and film and television actress. She played Glinda The Good Witch in the amazing Broadway show Wicked but also starred in two great Christmas films: A Sesame Street Christmas Carol and Deck The Halls.

I know that the pint-sized singer/actress has a huge fan base around the globe but I want to know your thoughts on her performance in two different Christmas movies.

A Sesame Street Christmas Carol was released in November 2006. As always, Sesame Street presented an educational and entertaining Christmas rework of Charles Dickens’s classic A Christmas Carol. In the film, Oscar the Grouch finds himself visited by the ghosts of Christmas past, present and future. In the film, Kristi lent her voice to the role of Christmas Carol.

In Deck The Halls, Kristi played Tia Hall. The holiday comedy is centred around two neighbors in a small New England town who go to war when one of them decided to decorate is house with so many Christmas lights, they are visible from space. The neighborhood is turned upside down as the families try to discover the true meaning of Christmas. Kristi starred alongside fellow short actor Danny DeVito and the film received rave reviews.

For me, any holiday film is worth the price of a cinema ticket but I personally loved Deck The Halls. Kristi Chenoweth was brilliant in this film and considering she only lent her voice to A Sesame Street Christmas Carol, I’d have to say Kristi was better in Deck The Halls.

What do you think? Was Kristin Chenoweth: Better In A Sesame Street Christmas Carol or Deck the Halls?
