Dancing with the Stars Star Jane Seymour Takes A Break
According to E! Jane Seymour, Dancing with the Stars’ resident is taking a break due to the death of her mother.

Jane’s mum, Mieke Frankenberg, died Tuesday morning at the age of 92 due to complications from a stroke suffered earlier this year.

Jane is said to be en route to England to be with her family and attend the funeral service and will skip the taping. It remains to be seen whether the wannabe Dancing queen, who’s partnered with Tony Dovolani for the competition, will return next Monday, should she make the cut.

The 56-year-old small-screen icon, who said prior to the start of the show that she chose to participate in Dancing with the Stars because it was her mother’s absolute favourite series, released a statement praising her mum. Jane said that “my mother survived incredible challenges…her health issues that she never complained about…three and a half year in a Japanese concentration camp in World War II and the loss of her husband, John, who was the love of her life. However, she was always a beacon of love and hope for all she met and especially for my sisters Anne and Sally and for our entire family. Her spirit was indomitable and will continue to live forever in our hearts.”

We send Jane and her family our condolences and look forward to watching her again on Dancing with the stars again soon.
