Shilpa Shetty Is Denying Reports Of Her Arrest

Bollywood film actress Shilpa Shetty is denying reports that she was arrested at India immigration last week.

Shilpa said that “You know I’m sometimes quite amused by the press because I was not arrested, and I went on the net and people were calling me and they were asking me if I was okay, and I was like, what’s happened, I’ve just come to Berlin, I’ve just landed here, and they were like, we heard you got arrested.

Reportedly Shilpa was detained and questioned regarding her much publicized kiss with Richard Gere at an AIDS awareness event in India which landed both Shilpa and Richard in hot water among conservative Hindus, who claim the two violated anti-obscenity laws.
