The new 2008 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X has a 2 liter turbocharged four cylinder MIVEC4 motor which produces a cool 295 BPH of which has 300 lb-ft of torque, believe it or not the Twin Clutch SST is similar to that of the Audi/VW’s DSG system which has even and odd gears are on separate clutches which will give you rapid-fire shifting plus the whole system will come in 3 modes which are Normal, Sport and S-Sport.
The Super All Wheel Control (S-AWC) drive system will have Active Stability Control (ASC), Active Center Differential (ACD), Active Yaw Control (AYC) plus Sport ABS. There will be two basic trim levels on the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X 2008 which are the GSR which will have the Twin Clutch SST, S-AWC & multi-function display large rear spoiler and many more high tech features. The basic model RS does not have the Twin Clutch transmission and the S-AWC system and it does not have a radio or power seats, oh get this it has not got a spoiler either. So getting rid of all these extras makes this model lighter. More photos below -
