For all you people out there who have a sexy TV with a high resolution you will all be feeling very inadequate once December 1st comes, because that is when Sony release their SonyDrive XEL-1 OLED TV. What makes this TV so special is the fact that it has a contrast ratio of 1,000,000:1.

The screen measures only 11-inches, the pixel resolution on that is 960 x 540. The SonyDrive XEL-1 OLED TV comes with a digital TV tuner, do not expect a lot from the speakers though as they only push out 2x 1W.

There are a range of connections, these range from Ethernet, USB and also HDMI. When the TV is launched expect to pay about $1,740.

More information on OLEDs, including Samsung’s and Toshiba’s OLED TVs (promised in 2009… and larger sized than Sony’s) see our web site -
