Kanye West’s Blog and is he the king of rap?

It looks like Kanye West has been updating his blog a lot more these days with 8 posts in 2 days; these posts include YouTube videos to sneakers.

Although many of us know Kanye West is not happy with MTV and gave them the silent treatment, but he seems to be talking loud on his blog.

If you’re a Kanye West fan it’s worth a look, but the real question would be “is he the king of rap?

I am sure many of you might like Kanye West, but from what we are hearing from rap fans (the votes on Eminem vs 50 Cent and Kanye West) Eminem seems to be the king…what do you think?

    Definitely not. He is a good producer, an average lyricist and a good song maker. But nowhere near the king of rap, it’s definitely Eminem and has been Eminem since 2pac died. Even if 50cent created an even bigger buzz than Eminem, doesn’t mean he’s better, he’s just more marketable and more commercial with his image. But Eminem is the best lyricist and when his new album comes out Kanye will be put in his place, he’s too egotistical, there’s a difference between arrogance and confidence, he just doesn’t know it.

    Kanye is not of any comparison with Em. Eminem can make him look like a 4 year old kid … in every aspect … production,lyrics,flow,style … Everything … Eminem definately the KING !!!

    Kanye the king of rap, that is laughable. Eminem wins that battle hands down. He is a lyrical genius. Kanye has nothing on Eminim and he never will.

    Eminem is the KING!!! How could Kanye even think he could compete??? There is no contest, Eminem wins hands down! Once he releases a new album, and tops Kanye’s sales in the first day, let alone week, maybe Kanye will retire….

    most def eminem, kanyes rap abilities come nowhere close to eminem not even fifty cent has shit on em. eminem is the best rapper alive no one has shit on him alotta ppl hate on him tho an it pisses me off, fuck all you haters.

    Freestyler, that’s just a stupid thing to say. This stupidity of underground listeners hating mainstream is pathetic.

    Mainstream is just ‘making it’

    So if you were a rapper you’d rather stay an underground rapper out of pocket? as apposed to a wordwide respected artist?

    Hate sell-outs not mainstream. 50cent, Nelly etc = mainstream trash. They compromise their style in order to sell more records.

    But Eminem, doesn’t. He’s just changed his style with each album to stay fresh. But notice. He has never said he’s a gangster and he has never sold out, he’s always said exactly what he wants and never compromised for anybody.

    His rap has got better. He was a better lyricist underground but his lyrics didn’t mean anything, they were just rhymes. Now they mean something.

    Eminem was king of underground, now he’s king of rap. Eminem = the best, easily. Go listen to Infinite, Slim Shady EP, Slim Shady LP, Marshall Mathers LP, Eminem Show, then tell me he’s not. As well as his freestyles.
