7.4 magnitude earthquake hit near New Zealand

An earthquake with a magnitude of 7.4 has hit 500 km southwest of New Zealand New Zealand, it happened on Sunday and there have been no reports of any damage and there have not been any warnings of a tsunami.
The earthquake happened at 6:24 p.m. local New Zealand time and could be felt as far away as South Island. When the quake first happened there were fears of a possible tsunami, but this is less likely to happen. Many people who felt the quake had said that it did not even feel that strong.
