Your Thoughts: Did The McCanns Do It?

Many people have been watching the story unfold of the missing girl Madeleine McCann, but a few still think that all the news reporters just want to make money on the story. But this is wrong , its all about Madeleine - finding her safe and well or, if the worse happened, finding who is responsible for her disappearance.
Following the story of the missing girl Madeleine there are three questions that I would like to know your answers too.
How can the blood in the hire car which was hired after the disappearance of Maddy be explained?
And what about the scent of a corpse found by sniffer dogs on her mum’s jeans and t-shirt?
But the question every body wants to know
Did the McCanns do it?
These are three questions that point the finger too the parents but there doesn’t seem to be enough evidence to say exactly what happen to missing Madeleine.

Because all of the info is unconfirmed leaks, I have no hard opinion either way as anything is possible until all of the facts are confirmed…but I do wonder, from the hearsay out there:
Why would cuddle cat be washed 4 days after dissappearance? I have never washed any of my 5 year old stuffed animals…ever…if she went missing, this would be the LAST thing I would do. Aside from the obvious sentimental factor, intelligence alone for DNA would be a reason not to. If the cat was placed up high and was one of the reasons for suspecting an intruder, as Ms McCann has supposedly said.
Statistically…what are the odds that a group who just happens to think it’s ok to leave children (even nearby) unattended would just so happen to have been targeted by a would be kidnapper…parents who think this is statistically low. Even lower are combining that with the low statistics of stranger abduction. Not judging them for leaving the children alone just pondering the statistical logistics of it…
Did Kate run back to the restaraunt to inform the party that Madeleine was missing? (I’m not clear on this detail) But if she did, as has been reported..
If you thought one child had been abducted, would you leave your other 2 alone in the room to go tell the others in your party or would a normal hysterical mother scream from the balcony / patio area and not leave the other 2 alone to also possibly be abducted?!
The reason for not using the hotel provided babysitters of “We didn’t want to leave them with strangers”…They left the children with these “strangers” many hours already during this vacation. Seems odd they would not do it at night.
The whole Find Madeleine Fund / Website leaves me uneasy…who thinks about trademarking / copyrighting just 15 days after a child goes missing a fund …I would think you are more worried about finding your own child rather then setting up a fund to find her and help other famalies and for it to be so organized…many parents become activists after losing children in horrible circumstances…public service for this cause usually comes later.
People greive and show emotion differently so I do not fault them for lack of emotion in public. But the gung-ho attitude for for the fund, items to sell such as bacelets, Gerry’s constant blogging (up until they were made suspects),meetings in Washington and various media outlets to promote the fund, not just Madeleine missing..just doesn’t seem what most would do…but again everyone is different…with all of that money, why were DNA experts and cadaver dogs not brought in earlier? Why does the money seem to just sit there? For what if not Private Investigators and experts right off the bat?
One more question…thought:
Have any of the British investigators (or anyone credible) let it leak or stated that the DNA results are weak in proving the McCann’s were involved…in other words, is anyone (besides the McCann spokespeople)counteracting the DNA and saying it is NOT pointing the direction of the McCanns or that it is flimsy, at best? I have seen the press and spokespeople’s thought’s but any one credible?
OJ Simpson was found innocent when there was more DNA proof against him then most convicted murderer’s sitting on death row, according to prosecutor Marcia Clarke. Public opinion and war of words and press can overshadow true science.
No Way! The police in Portgual are setting up the McCanns. How can they start accusing anyone of murder without a body? The McCanns should request that the UK ban going to Portgual until Madeleine is found. I feel Robert Murat is involved he works for the police and so does his friend that is pictured in the background looking at Mr. McCann playing with the children the day Madeleine was abducted. He is staring right at them, like he was stalking. Go to http://www.brianspredictions.com and read all the evidence against the police and Robert Murat. Why is it that the authorities can say anything they want but the McCanns are threatened with jail time if they utter a word? Who is looking for Madeleine?
Yes the McCann’s are innocent! This idea of the McCann’s being guilty is absolute nonsense! Robert Murat was made a suspect because he had the email address of the boatman thought to be involved in Madeleine’s disappearance, there was also some mention of a photo of Madeleine being discovered on either his mobile phone or computer. But then you can’t believe everything that’s being said!
The McCann´s are innocent.
I think they would have collapsed by now if they weren´t.
And recent news about how Portoguese Police have turned down hundreds of sightings because they decided in the beginning that Madeleine is dead.
I beleive that someone in The Police is involved.
Cara, the McCann’s campaign to keep Madeleine’s profile in the news and to continue putting forth the abduction scenario makes perfect sense. This is an *alibi* to absolve them of guilt (in the eyes of the public at least). Just like you, there are many people who will follow the McCann campaign and say “they could not know that their daughter was dead or disposed of her body if they are managing this high profile campaign to find her”. It is possible that they may have thought Madeleine’s body would be discovered in a short amount of time and the abductor would be blamed for her death. Perhaps they never intended the campaign to go this far, but it got out of control and they were unable to stop it. Who knows at this point?
The McCann’s did not request the British sniffer dogs, that was Team McCann spin courtesy of Mr. Mitchell I presume. The cadaver dogs were brought in by request of Portuguese and British Police officers involved in the investigation. However, I believe someone from the McCann Team brought in South African Danny Krugel to search for a body. I will not speculate as to why this was not publicized by British press.
Without a doubt, this case is a Public Relations campaign in progress and a very profitable one for newspapers around the world. The McCann’s may very well win a public relations war. I fear poor Madeleine was lost in the press jumble a long time ago.
Don’t you wish some newspaper would tell us about her, other than the fact that she is blond, fair skinned, 90cm tall, and lovely? What games did she like, what was her favorite color, did she like Barbie dolls or Polly Pocket play sets? Was she looking forward to going to school and learning to write her name, did she know her ABC’s, could she count to 10? Did she like swimming or did she have friends? I can’t remember ever before hearing less about the child victim than I have in this case.
Are the McCanns going to take a Lie Detector test? as they said they would,that would perhaps help the public to understand the case even more…………….How any parent can go through what they are going through and remain sane ………..
There are two possibilities
1) they accidently did and their parents misled the public and police
2) they are innocent and wrongly accused
In BOTH cases a little girl disappeared/died. Both cases are fatal for the parents.
Let the portugise police do their work - with the support of the British one. The British press could not really be called unbiased

The whole publicity thing - its the best way to protest innocence - I have always believed something was up with those two!
I mean come on - really - who the fuck goes off to a foreign country and leaves the kids ALONE in an apartment while they go off and get bladdered!!!

i think they’re guilty and my reason is who the fuck leaves babies in a foreign hotel? even if they did not kill her they should still go to jail for that its there fault this thing even happened also a dog smelled death on her mother
