Battlefield 2 on Xbox 360 vs Warhawk on Sony PS3

Although I have loved playing Halo 3 recently, I must say when it comes to muiltiplayer games on the Xbox 360 it’s not my favourite.
My best muiltiplayer game on the Xbox 360 is Battlefield 2, it’s amazing and the maps are massive which is something I love. Also I like being able to get in tanks and fly helicopters which Battlefield 2 does very well.
On my Sony PS3, my favourite muiltiplayer game is Warhawk and because it is dedicated to just that they have made one hell of an amazing game which is tough to beat.
Now when we talk Battlefield 2 vs Warhawk, this is a tough one for me to choose between as I love them both so much.
Currently Warhawk’s getting a lot more of my gaming time, but because I am thinking about how good Battlefield 2 is I miss it…guess I better go and have a game.

I know what you mean! I just can’t get enough of Warhawk! Its eating away at least 5 hours of my day.

Look Warhawk is fun and it isn’t too ugly in the graphics dept. but I think it is getting more hype than it deserves. Too many PS fans have never used their PS for Multiplayer and now they are giving it a try and finding out what xbox fans have known for awhile, multiplayer is the shit! I remember when I broke my cherry on COD2 for the 360 and how much time I logged on BF2 I was instantly changed and that is what is happening with Warhawk. I’m not knocking the game but it is severely limited and in the end just a twitch based free for all shooter. Now had Sony pushed the use of Headsets by including them with the PS3 (like MS did)this might not have been the case. Way to often the PSN is devoid of TEAMWORK because most PS3 owners don’t have headsets. To me that sucks because I like to use tactics and skill not just run and gun BS that you see on Warhark. So PS3 fans, welcome to Multiplayer goodness but seriously don’t try and compare Warhawk to Halo 3 you just look stupid. If you do though remember coop story does count as Multplayer therefore Warhawk and it’s four gametypes don’t compare to Halo’s coop story, TDM, DM, Oddball, Forge, CTF, TCTF. Besides Halo 3 has a much better match making system and 99% of 360 users have headsets so the teamwork is vastly superior.
BF2 on the PC is my favourite online game with Warhawk a close second. I havent played the console versions of BF2 but I’ve heard they are nowhere near as good as the PC version.

“One” we meet again! It seems we are both trolls out to get our points accross. Look Man I’m sure you have played Halo 3 by now and know what millions of others do. IT BEATs The shit out of WARHAWK. Hell BF2 is old as dirt and it is as good if not better in many ways than Warhawk too. Warhawk is a tired knock off plain and simple. Before you counter with “Halo is just another FPS” ask yourself A. What is the best game so far on the PS3 (resistence FPS)B. What is their next biggest IP (killzone 2 another FPS) C. what game do they have that beats Halo? Besides what is better than having 600,000 people to play with at 6:00 in the morning? Warhawk can’t match the number of players, game modes, # of maps, or any of that crap and you know it.

Yes we meet again! Yes I played Halo 3 a lot but I played Warhawk far more. The next biggest IP is not killzone 2 it’s Metal Gear Solid 4 there is also Haze, Ratchet & Clank,Uncharted, etc, etc.
It’s not that Halo 3 is another FPS it’s Halo 2 with add ons. Its not anything new either. It’s just that Warhawk is more fun. Do you have a PS3 let alone Warhawk?
