I am a big Ericsson fan and over the past 3 years have had their top selling models. I can say I have never been disappointed in usability & features. I have recently upgraded to the K810i, with a 3 mega pixel camera only to be kicking myself a month down the line when the 5 mega pixel K850i was announced!

The stunning Sony Ericsson K850i is a 3G camera phone which will not disappoint. As a member of the Sony Ericsson K range, the K850i is a highly capable camera phone. This quality camera is housed within an attractive handset which is easy to hold and compact. As with all of the K range, the phone comes with easy to use features which focus highly on the camera and media capabilities.

The phone is in a classic ‘bar’ style which measures 102mm x 48mm x 17mm. The K850i comes in a choice of two colours; either luminous green or velvet blue. You can tell that the K850i has been styled to catch people’s eye and on looks alone it definitely does that.

The phone comes with a large high colour screen which is scratch proof and has a high screen resolution. Along with the amazing looks, the 3G phone comes with 40 megabytes of built in memory which can be expanded using a memory stick micro™ M2™ or a MicroSD™ memory card.

As a 3G phone, it offers users all the 3G capabilities the user could desire including an always on broadband which boasts line speed. There is also 3G video calling and video or music streaming. The 3.5G technology provides data transfer speeds up to 384 Kbytes per second.

The phone comes with EDGE technology, allowing the user to experience high speed data transfers up to three times faster that GPRS transfers.

The five mega pixel camera comes with an auto focus feature allowing the user to focus on the subject in the centre of the screen, providing the user with crystal clear sharpness. The anti-blur technology will allow perfect images, even if the user makes small movements.

The clever K850i comes with an auto rotate features, meaning that if the handset is moved vertically and horizontally, the image on the screen will move between portrait and landscape mode.
