Will Tom Shadyac Join With Jim Carrey For Medical Movie Dr. Sensitive?

The last time director Tom Shadyac made a movie that dabbled in the medical world the result was Patch Adams - not pretty - so why hasn’t he learnt his lesson?! It has been reported that Shadyac is circling a spec script just picked up by Universal called Dr. Sensitive, about a doctor with the world’s worst bedside manner.

Dr. Sensitive has now become a comedy after Ben Frahm transformed the script. It will now be in the same vein of Liar Liar (one of three collaborations with funny man Jim Carrey) and certainly has the potential to be excruciatingly funny, especially if Jim Carrey reunites with his old chum.
