Microsoft Corp will sell Windows XP operating system until end of June 2008

On Thursday Microsoft Corp has said that it will delay the scheduled transition to its newer Windows Vista software by 5 months, this means they will keep selling the Windows XP operating system until the end of June 2008.
Windows Vista has been with us since January 2007 and one year later on, January 30th 2008 we should of seen the end of Windows XP sales.
This news comes from what is reported as “customers who still wanted to buy the older operating system”, I am not exactly sure why that would be but at a guess it would be because of bugs and that people like to wait to things are a little more solid.
I have had Windows Vista myself from the beginning, but I also can confirm I still have problems thanks to certain drivers still not available from Packard Bell (although I brought my computer 3 months before Vista was released and its meant to be Vista read).
Saying that I do love Vista overall.

I have no intention of paying the exorbitant price for Windows Vista - I am excited about trying Linux and if it performs as expected, will use for years to come.Microsoft - welcome to the world of free enterprise!!
