Husband Escapes Lie Detector Test As Wife Is Found Alive In Revine

A woman, missing for eight days, has been found at the bottom of a ravine alive and well, just as her husband was about to take a lie detector test over her disappearance. It has been reported that US police found Mrs Rider, 33, at the exact time her husband Tom Rider was sitting down to take the examination!

Tanya Rider was found by officers insider her Honda Element, which had plunged off Highway 169 in Washington State. It was said that the police found her by following her normal route home.

State Patrol spokesman Jeff Merrill has said,

“She looks very pale, very dehydrated. She didn’t have a lot of cuts but had difficulty breathing. It’s hard to say whether she has been there the entire time.”

Mrs Rider was airlifted to Harborview Medical Centre in Seattle for treatment. Tanya’s car had tumbled 20 feet down a ravine and was buried underneath heavy undergrowth and blackberry bushes. Rescuers had to take the roof off the car to get her out.

Her husband, Tom Rider had claimed he had looked along the same stretch of highway himself but failed to find his wife. He had also offered a $25,000 reward for information leading to his wife’s return.

Thankfully the two are now reunited and we hope Mrs Rider makes a full recovery and gets well soon.
