Elton John Attacked George Bush For His Handling Of The AIDS Crisis

Reportedly Elton John has attacked US President George Bush for his handling of the AIDS crisis.

Elton is said to have rapped George and South African leader Thabo Mbeki in a speech at the AIDS Foundation gala in New York.

Elton apparently told the audience: “They’ve made a grave error in giving millions to abstinence programmes. They don’t work. Don’t listen to the idiots.”

Elton clams that Mbeki should feel “ashamed” for supporting the minister, who has suggested that garlic, beetroot, lemon and olive oil work better than antiretroviral drugs.
