Last night The Secret Diary of a Call Girl proved a big hit for ITV2.
The drama about a high-class hooker, which stars Billie Piper, grabbed an average 1.8 million viewers and an 11% share in multichannel homes over its half hour slot, peaking at 2.1 million just after it started at 10pm.

I watched this show last night and what can I say? Belle de Jour must be proud, Billie was excellent as her and after watching the show I’m sure I’m not the only woman who has revaluated her underwear draw! I’m going to spend a lot of money on knickers from now on! I’m also going to hit the gym after seeing Billie look that hot!
A show about a hooker is bound to raise eyebrows but it was soo great, I can’t wait for next week’s episode.
I haven’t seen the show, but I’ve read a few articles about how it may glamorize prostitution. I’ve worked as a call girl off-and-on for several years and I highly doubt that my experience could made into a TV show.
