Xbox 360 Halo 3 and Sony PS3 Warhawk at war: How can you compare?

After seeing the post from Daniel Multiplayer Maps: Halo 3 on Xbox 360 vs. Warhawk on Sony PS3 prompt me to argue this point, how the hell can you choose which one is better when they are totally different platforms, like many of you fanboys it seems that there will always be a war if you like it not which to me is pretty pathetic.
Just to put my oar in, I really do think Halo 3 is the nuts and have played Warhawk and also say that is a great game but how far do we go to get all the best games, should we go out and buy every single console in bloody existents, do not think so not at their prices any way.
Please explain to me the differences between Halo 3 on the Microsoft Xbox 360 and Warhawk on the Sony PS3 I would love to know, oh and please do not slag of other consoles there is no need.

Galo is so fucking over-rated, boring as fuck ’shiny’ unrealistic 3shitty graphics and plus it’s an Unreal Tournament rip-off. If u had played Unreal u would know.

Of course nobody is gonna pay for Sony’s service ITs FREE!! Now paying for LIVE?? THAT is fucking crazy!! They already expect us to pay out our ass for a 32% failure rate machine, then expect us to pay for bloody add-ons that the PS3 already has, and 3shitty users have to pay more for games too. Bloody rip-off if u ask me. U fools make such a big deal about Galo3 u would think it should be the GREATEST game ever known to mankind but, it’s not. It’s not even the best FPS. Give the original Unreal, SOF 1 and 2 any day over Galo!!!

Chris - what are you on about? You cannot pay for Sony network? Its free? XBL is good, but its not cheap? The teamwork in Warhawk is amazing - I think you haven’t played it that much. Go play a lvl4 or lvl 6 CTF or Zone match - excellent.
As I have said before. Halo 3 is much of a muchness. Yes, there is the new shield, and the gfx are nice (although not consistant). Its the gameplay that makes Warhawk though - Halo3 is FPS, and thats it. Warhawk is a solid vehicle battle game, with heavy focus on infantry support. Whether its armour, or air. It really changes teamplay alot. And it has you looking out for your team members all the time (esp the dog fights). Theres nothing like that in Halo. There is no ‘15 planes doghfighting above the battlefield, while trying to hold a zone with a handful of grunts’.
And imho. Thats where Halo3, while a great classic FPS, is not in the same league.
Btw Chris.. the community in Warhawk is quite excellent. Its not hard to meet ppl and get into clans and so forth. You are speaking like its not there. Warhawk is MP only. It has all the elements you need like XBL has on Halo 3.. so dont make out otherwise.
Dumbasses wut Gina meant is Halo has a 12-15 hour story and warhawk has a 12-15 hour shorter story (sarcasticaly saying it doesnt have a story)
by the way i agree with the author ive played both and if you like a fast action 32 player kill-fest in planes jeeps tanks and turrets buy warhawk but Halo 3 has the graphicsand FPS advantage you feel more immersed in the game because of it.. also WTF guys its halo though i think its still Halo 2.5
you guys are morons she was saying it is about 8-12 hours shorter in the campaign department because thats how long it takes to beat Halo 3. So what does that mean subtract 8 - 12 hours and that equals 0 hours hmmmm whats that mean no campaign. Next time think before reacting you fools like honestly can yas understand a joke.
Wow, I thought I was the only one that liked Warhawk better than Halo 3. Quite honestly, I come home and look forward to playing warhawk whilst Halo 3 only holds my interest slightly…After playing Warhawk’s fast speed, Halo feels very sluggish.

Warhawk is a great game and pretty much the only game that goes into my PS3 as of late(not for long hehe)but it just is not better than halo 3 i am sorry.If you like the warhawks and the back story and do not like halo’s then of course you will say warhawk is better but that is entirely an opinion and other people would come up with another one.
Why do you think every single game site and magazine all say halo has the best console multiplayer ever?? oh i know its because microsoft pays them off right? No sorry guys its becasue how easy it is to play with your friends its how you can watch entire battles on replay films to check out strategy or just watch a really cool battle. Its about the new Forge mode where you can go into any map and change everything from spawn points to weps to vehicle’s.
You guys also make it seem like halo has no vehicles which could not be further from the point there is ton’s and each one can be manned by more than one person.
Look i love my PS3 and i love warhawk but it just isnt better it does not add even near the amount of content that halo has and it is not as polished and refined and the most important no other game is as easy to play with your friends and change every aspect of every map till you find exactly what you like.
I hope as soon as -Home- comes out for the PS3 it will add all the feature’s of xbox live because it does not matter what you say but live is superior and any video game journalist of game site worth their weight will till you the same.
I am not sure if you guys are just mad or what but i cant listen to you lie about everything. Halo3 can be beaten in 6-8 hours on the easiest difficulty level but guess what so can almost any otehr shooter on super easy. If you play halo 3 on herioc(which it says right when u pick it is the way the game is meant to be played)it takes 10-12 hours which is average for a FPS.I do play my 360 more right now becasue there is so many more games and ports turn out better because devs are lazy and dont use the PS3 power(hopefully that will change soon)But dont worry guys game’s are coming and coming soon then maybe you guys will be to busy playing instead of lying about other game’s.
Bottom line is if you are a fanboy you suck.Both consoles have advantage’s both console’s have disadvantage’s in 2008 and beyond both will have TONS of awesome game’s whatever your console of choice is i am happy for you just dont flat out lie about a game just because you eitehr hate it or cant get it on your console it just make’s ya look like a scared little fanboy. Halo 3 is fun. Warhawk is fun.
Halo 3 is much easier to find a match than Warhawk but they are fixing that for Warhawk. Warhawk offers more I would choose Warhawk over Halo 3 for multiplayer but they are both really fun
To the people bashing Gina - have you ever heard of “SARCASM” before?
Let me explain - Halo 3’s campaign is 8-12 hours. Warhawk has no campaign at all. Thus, Halo 3’s campaign, as Gina sarcastically stated, is “is about 8-12 hours shorter than Halo 3’s.”
It’s funny. Unless she’s really serious, in which case please go ahead and keep bashing her because that is ridiculous.
BTW - both games are very, very good. I do have a personal preference (Halo 3), but I dig Warhawk too.
