Multiplayer Maps: Halo 3 on Xbox 360 vs Warhawk on Sony PS3

I got my hands on Halo 3 yesterday and had a good game with another Product Reviews writer “Mark”; although we share different opinions about the game I would agree that the co-op and single player modes are really cool and hard at times.
Sadly in my opinion, Halo 3 multiplayer maps are nothing compared to Warhawk’s, I am not starting an “Xbox 360 vs Sony PS3” here as I own both and love both.
What I am talking about is the comparison overall of the multiplayer maps on Halo 3 and on Warhawk, the graphics of Halo 3’s maps are stunning it is the gameplay that is lacking.
If you have ever played both Xbox 360’s Halo 3 multiplayer maps and Warhawk’s on the Playstation 3, then you should know what I mean.
Halo 3 maps are very small and limited in what you can do, while in Warhawk they are much bigger in size and your able to go to many more places (including much higher in the sky and much further on land).
I will put my hands up and say yes the graphics of vehicles in Halo 3 are amazing and tons better than Warhawk, but on the gameplay front…I am sorry, but Halo 3 does not touch Warhawk.

HAHAHAHA!!! Gameplay doesn’t even get close to Warhawk eh?? Halo3 is sooo crap then!!! Sure people say the graphics are great (if u like drawn on lighting) but SURELY gameplay is much much more important than shiny graphics. I think the game play in warhawk is great, not the best and could be better but, if Halo is not even as good but worse I’m not even gonna bother. Shame on u microsoft shame on u bungie and shame on u shitbox3shitty!!

the ps3/xbox fanboy thing - both are great systems (surely most xbox fanboys once owned a ps console)

yeah i agree warhawks maps are much more enjoyabled i was getting bored of halo 3 yesterday. and does anyone else think gears looks better, cos i do.

and started to speak crap… I have now played both Halo and WH and this article is not worth writing. All I can say is I think my PS3 will be gathering dust for quite some time… may even look at selling it before Christmas to get some money back as it is has been very disapointing, but you live and learn..
No offence john but I think you should calm down. Your the one thats talkin crap, I mean if you actually played the other two halos (dont know if you have), I think you wouldnt have bothered even thinkin about the comment you just added. Microsoft have always owned the sony company, I mean Bil Gates (or however you spell it) is the richest guy in the world,do you not think he would put those who got alot of money by working for Microsoft actually did something? Well I have to say john the pissstationpiss has to be one of the most crappy consoles iv ever seen! By the way war hawk looks crap… not bothering at allwith it, pixellized pac-man lookes better than War Hawk.

Trust me, go and play warhawk for a few hours and you shall see how much better it is at 10, 20 etc players online playing.
Its not just better, its way better than halo 3 at that.
Co-op play Halo 3 is way better and graphics is way better, but if you love gameplay with lots of peopel online…you cannot touch warhawk.
Thats only my opinion from someone who has played both.
Well, I guess you have a point, ill try war hawk and see what its like… but I am a big halo fan, and john really hit a nerve when he said halo 3 was crap.

I have played and own both and have to say I think it’s hard to compare the 2. Warhawk is multiplayer only and so has to excel online and it does, but has no campaign. The graphics are not as bad as people seem to make out either, no matter how mad it gets on screen there’s never any slow down or pop up on the huge maps. It’s a great game.
Halo 3, well I’ve been playing it pretty much non-stop, and I have to say (apart from the odd bit of slow-down) it is a superb game both in terms graphics and playability. It genuinely does make me laugh sometimes during the campaign. Online co-op is superb!! It’s the first Halo game I’ve ever bought and I think it’s a really enjoyable game! Doesn’t look better than gears or Bio-shock but so what?
Both great games, just lucky enough to enjoy both.

dude i must tell u that i love the halo series but i felt a little bit dissed when i finished the game in just one night.hell man that was a rip off.the graphics are in HD but they look and feel like halo 2 to the best.i own a 40 inch sony 1080p bravia and i must say that halo looks gr8off the bat but i felt so bad when the gameplay hits.and yes i own both the x360mand ps3 and love both the system.nad now warhawk.josh if u dont love it just shoot me 10 times i wont mind.believe me if u play for 15 minutes u wont even care about the single player campaign.its been more then a month now since i got my hands on warhawk but i mm hooked.have more then 200 plus friends and have a hell of a time on ps network.just try it u wont be dissapointed i promice.ur friend and nuetral fanboy…long live both ps3 and x360

I’ve played all the Halo’s and Halo 3 is incredible But for sheer raw all out mayhem fun give me warhawk anytime. The entire design of warhawk, from individual weapon power through vehicles and terrain is near perfect
