Microsoft Halo 3 Record
We all new Microsoft’s Halo 3 will be big news and would beat Halo 2 sales figures, but who knew that it would net $170 million in sales in the U.S. in its first day and that figure sets a new record in entertainment history.

This figure beats all previous entertainment records and shows that the gaming industry is really overtaking the film industry by beating records set by the motion pictures Deathly Hallows, Harry Potter and Spider Man 3.

We all know Microsoft had a great deal of expectations for Halo 3 and wanted it to be a must-have game for the Xbox 360, but did they really know it would break all entertainment records.

This is great news for all gamers, showing games as a major force in the entertainment world.
