Burma Protesters: Demonstrate and We Will Shoot

Over 200 troops were deployed as thousands of protesters took to the streets once again. But today, the streets of Rangoon have gone into mayhem after the military junta threatened to shoot anyone who demonstrates.
At the moment tear gas is fired at protesters to try and disperse them but with protesters standing their ground, Burma’s military junta may have to resort to “extreme action”.
So far between 200 and 500 monkes have been arrested among them was Myint Thein, the spokesman for opposition leader Aung San Suu Kyi’s political party
A number of raids was made by the Burmese security force on two Buddhist monasteries in Rangoon.
