Owen Wilson And Wes Anderson To Write Script Together?

Wes Anderson is a fantastic director, his earlier work proves it. I’m not too hot on his latest films but The Darjeeling Limited looks promising. So what has happened to Wes Anderson? Where has the magic gone? Well Anderson wrote his first three films with Owen Wilson and as they were some of his best maybe Owen Wilson was what Wes Anderson needed to make great movies?

So, will Anderson rekindle the magic by working with Owen Wilson again? Talking to Variety Anderson said,

“It will happen, I don’t know what the factors will be, but I believe it will happen. We actually talked about doing something not long ago.”

I’m not too sure whether to buy the optimism or not but I hope that it happens . After all, Owen Wilson has always wanted to write, not act. Maybe this is what he needs to get himself back on track? Either way I’m sure I’m not the only one who wants to see Owen Wilson back soon!
