Before we get into any arguments this is a simple question of which no favouritism comes into it – I know that it is a Microsoft game, but will the awesome game Halo 3 ever make it to Sony PS3 and Nintendo Wii? I went out this morning to Tescos and went to the shelves where the games are and to my disbelief there was only one Halo 3 game left (peed off I will not get one), well this lady already had 2 in her hands and then picked the last one up. She saw that I was disappointed and passed one of them to me and in that I was happy and gave her a kiss on the cheek.
Right now getting onto the question of will Halo 3 ever make it to Sony PS3 and Nintendo Wii? The reason I say this because whilst driving home I thought about the Nintendo Wii that I have been playing a lot and must say the controlling system is fantastic, so would it not be great if you could play Halo 3 on the Wii with this controllability, but then I had another thought (all these thoughts are hurting my head) would it be too much work trying to control the Halo 3 game.
I do say that without a doubt it really should be considered for Halo 3 to be made for all Sony PS3 lovers, ok yes it is a Microsoft game and the Xbox is Microsoft but fairs fair they really should let PS3 fans have the chance of such an awesome game, and just imagine the sales Halo 3 would do if they did open it to other gaming consoles.
Update – I have not played my game yet, but I will be in a couple of hours time.

If I was Microsoft, I would hold on to Halo 3 for 6 months and then release it onto all the other consoles, this includes the Sony PS3 and Nintendo Wii.
They would make so much money that way and sell many more 360 consoles for the first 6 months.
No. Halo is a system seller for the Xbox 360. Since they don’t make a portable I could see a DS version. They won’t make a version for any system that competes with the 360 unless it’s a pc, of course. Hey, it is rumored to exist.
Are you really that much crazy?
Halo is THE holy grail for M$ and the gaming industry. They can never ever do that.
The thought of Halo 3 being traded with Nintendo and Sony sounds farfetched when considering that fact that Microsoft (and rivals) go out of their way to ensure that all (top selling) games are available exclusively on their consoles.
Microsoft wont even hand over (Rareware’s) 007 Goldeneye to Nintendo so that they can bring it back to life.
However, considering the slight possibility of a Trade, what would Sony and Nintendo exchange in return? Metal Gear Solid and Zelda?
If you consider the above, you must admit, there is really no chance of Halo 3 being handed over to Microsoft’s rivals.
You must have smoked a fat one on the way home!!!!! It will be alright just wait for the haze to clear and take a deep breath!! Better now?
No, a Halo game will never appear on any other system apart from an X-Box system. Most gamers know this is a ludicrous idea, but perhaps you’re not a hardcore gamer, which is why it’s a perfectly forgiveable question to ask, and to a certain extent a valid one (though us gamers often scoff at such an idea).
Each system has several titles which are it’s core system sellers, their main weapon against the opposition. These games have the ability to shift sales of their respective consoles big time. For Sony, think Metal Gear Solid and Gran Turismo. For Nintendo, you’ll be familiar with Mario and Zelda. And for Microsoft, aside from Project Gotham Racing, their biggest asset by a couple of miles is the Halo franchise. Handing it over to their rivals is like Microsoft raising the white flag. So no, Halo will never be released on any other console.
Note that the PC is an exception because the PC isn’t seen as a strong rival to the consoles, it is an ‘open’ platform (i.e. no one company has complete control over the PC market), that’s why you often see the PC get a console game a few months (years?) down the line.
Peace.
One question: were you dropped on your head as a child?
Ha ha ha a Halo game appearing on PS3 or Wii! You really have gone mad. That is all MS has. They have Halo and Gears of War as their console moving ips. Halo is their biggest franchise and giving that up to Nintendo or Sony is raising the white flag.
MS needs Halo to move like Pokemon or Gran Turismo for the xbox systems so giving that up would kill them.
I’ll agree with the last part of Vishal message. If they trade metal gear and Zelda (it does not have to be exactly those games)then maybe it would be good and then open the multiplayer to all platforms would be great. Because really Microsoft would make Grand Theft Auto $.
Halo 3 is exclusive and will always be exclusive to Xbox. What it does for marketing the Xbox will ALWAYS *WAY* over ride any sells opportunity it could provide on any other system.
The Xbox may not have even survived all to well without it in the first place.
