This is an interesting match up because when we look at the personal finances it looks like Donald Trump has a lot more money than Michael Jackson.
We are not talking money here though, as what I want to know is your answer to these questions:
1) Who do you think is more famous?
2) Who is your favorite, Donald Trump or Michael Jackson?
They are both famous for totally different reasons and I know many will not agree with me but my favorite is Michael Jackson, but you surely cannot disagree that Michael Jackson is more famous.

Michael Jackson was more famous than Donald Trump is now when he was only 11. That’s got to speak volumes surely?
Now, unfortunately, Michael Jackson is more famous for all the wrong reasons. His court cases and alleged ‘relations’ with young boys have only furthered the media attention surrounding him rocketing his ‘fame’ to heights Donald Trump can only wish for.
Donald Trump may have more money but, even with all Michael’s recent problems, he still will never be as famous as The King of Pop!

1) Answer - I would say the same but for different reasons, Jackson was more so famous in the 70’s and 80’s then made a comeback in the 90’s then died of for quite a few years until all the crap about him and the kids which i do not believe for one minute happened, he just loves being around kids coz he did not have a childhood (anyway thats another story).
I do not know much about the Trump other that he is mega rich and much more richer than Jackson.
2) Answer - Michael Jackson without a doubt.
May i ask why all these comparisons, what next -
A) Mickey Mouse or Miney Mouse?
B) Iraq War 1 or Iraq War 2?
C) Me or Brad Pitt? Me hands down of course
Well Mark the comparisons get an insight into what people think, and you prove that by saying Michael Jackson is your favorite.
So many people hate Michael Jackson and like Donald Trump a lot more and they know him thanks to his appearance on many TV programmes in the U.S.
So you may find more people like Donald more and think you and me are mad, also Michael could have had more money if he did things different with his spending over the years…so yes this is a good comparison in my view not their careers but for who we like.
1) I live in Spain. Almost nobody knows who is Donal Trump here. Out of USA, Trump is “Donald Who?” for a large amount of people. I can’t imagine a single person in the whole world that doesn’t know Michael Jackson

1) As above, there isnt a single person on the planet who has a media acces point (radio, tv, film or newspaper/magazines) who does not know Michael Jackson - Donald Trump is famous in America… but not globally in any way, There is alot more to the world that just the States.
2) Michael jackson! lets face it, despite all the media lies (i say lies as both times MJ has been accused of things by ‘bizarre’ families it has been found that he is unanimously NOT GUILTY) people may make out they r not fans but when a jackson song comes on anywhere the whole place jumps up and down. he is loved around the world more than any other entertainer proved by guiness records naming him officially the most successfull entertainer of any kind in History.
What a stupid commparrison this is, am not even goin to answer it because it obvious and it will be more obviouse when jackson brings out his new album which will be immense..

In 1998, there was a global poll where people voted for the most known - famous person … and the result was - Michael was (and he is) known for 98% of people living on the planet…., more famous then Pope John Paul II, Queen Elizabeth or Bill Clinton…!!!
Michaels so called comeback with the 1995 HIStory album and World Tour left very strong message and legacy not only for MJ fans…, the hysteria around the globe have been the biggest which any solo artist (or group) ever has…

Michael Jackson has been for quite some time, and still is, the most famous person on the planet. You simply cannot deny that Michael is not at the top of the list when it comes to fame. Even small communities in African countries that have no real communication with the Western world can recognize Michael Jackson when they see him.
As for favourite, it is by far Michael Jackson. Sure, he’s had his ups and downs over his lifetime (haven’t we all?), but the man is an anomaly who will go down in history as one of the greatest entertainers who has ever lived. It saddens me that the youth of today only ever see the ‘weird’ Michael, and have never really been exposed to the ‘magical/artisitic’ Michael. I hope his next album can change that.
Regardless of everything that has happened with Michael Jackson no one can deny how famous he is, and how much he means/has meant to the world. Michael is by far the most famous.

There’s no question about it. Michael Jackson was named according to Guinness World Record book multiple times the most famous person on the planet. And that’s the fact for the last 20 years. MJ is also my favorite too. He is the most successful entertainer ever. Those things with his finances are not absolutely correct. Tabloids try to make him look like that he has no money. It the fact, he just bought a castle in Ireland for almost $ 30 million or is seriously thinking about it. And I don’t think that the poor person can do that. What do you think?

MICHAEL JACKSON! By far… I’ve never heard of any Donald Trump fans, but I’ve heard of hundreds of millions of Jackson fans. Michael Jackson is the most sucessfull artist of all time, he has made music that has touched and inspired millions of hearts, and he will be doing that untill he dies. He has given more money, more time, and more of his heart to charity than any other celebrety, by faaaar! He has contributed in music history with groundbraking short films making the way for black artists on MTV. He has pretty much created his own style of music, wich has inspired most of today’s biggest names, for example NeYo, Justin Timberlake, Usher, Beyonce, Chris Brown and many others! He has sold more records than any other performer has ever done, and has the biggest selling album of all time with Thriller. Thriller has sold more than 104 million copies worldwide…. So to sum it up, Michael Jackson is my favorite! 2008 will be his year!
I couldn’t really care much for Donald Trump, lol, and I also think Michael Jackson is more famous. I mean let’s put it this way who hasn’t heard of Thriller, Billie Jean or the moonwalk? Or who hasn’t heard his songs? Or who hasn’t seen his music videos? The old as well as the young generation know who MJ is because his career has spanned out for so long. I think many people have heard of Donald Trump, but the young generation don’t know what he does, or couldn’t care less. People who were born post eighties MJ-mania, are still aware of who he is and are able to enjoy his music i.e myself.

Thanks for pointing that out Ricky. It’s also funny how these same people do not address the fact that those allegations were NEVER proven in a court of law and more importantly is the fact that a parent would take money from a person who “allegedly” harmed their child, instead of putting said person IN JAIL. The people who made those allegations, could have put the person in jail AND taken the money. But, as we know, THEY TOOK THE MONEY AND RAN! I don’t know about anybody else, but if you do harm to my child, I want your head on a platter and no amount of money will change that fact!
