Kobe Bryant and Michael Jordan are very close when it comes down to sports and how big their names are in the celebrity world, but which name is the biggest brand.
According to the Forbes Celebrity 100 list, Kobe Bryant is placed at no.25 while Michael Jordan is only one place under him at no.26.
Now they make this list based on what they say is “a combination of earnings and sizzle”, but what I want to know is how you feel about Kobe Bryant being a bigger name than Michael Jordan.

You’ve got to be kidding me. MJ at the 26th spot when he’s not playing speaks volumes about his brand. The dude isn’t even playing anymore and he’s only 1 spot behind Kobe! After all these years Jordan is still known and his brand is still flourishing despite him being very low key. Obviously Kobe would be higher than him right now but being 1 spot ahead of a guy who hasn’t played in years is actually quite embarrassing. When Kobe retires watch his brand drop like the stock market while MJ’s brand stays relevant.
Kobe is Kobe and is in an entirely different level from MJ … a level or two lower in fact.
Michael Jordan is better then Kobe could ever be. MJ has the best personality and better talent. Kobe is way too hot headed to be considered better then the amazing Air Jordan. Almost everyone loved Michael Jordan, not everyone loves Kobe. Kobe’s name is well known, but it is not all in a positive light. I think he’s an arrogant piece of trash that happens to have some talent.
Kobe is an enigma, and probably the most exiting nba player of all time. Lebron and Wade have their fans, but there are no legions of pationate haters and fanatics who either bash or praise everything they do. Kobe might not be the greatest of all time, but he is the most electrifying figure in basketball history.

i agree with you it matters about skill. jordan has much more skill that kobe. i havent seen kobe get 81 points after the first time he did. that was luck. MJ was constinly getting high scores per game. kobe got 81 in one game. i wld rather get high points per game than get 81 in only 1 game. so for all of those ignorant immature little faggits who dont know shit bout MJ got on the internet then talk shit.
Comparing Kome Bryant to Michael Jordan is like comparing Scientology to Catholicism, Protein powder to Steroids, conventional weapons to nuclear weapons, dialup to broadband. As Sir Charles once said, they are both black and both play basketball, but that’s about it.
That being the case, I am not surprised Kome’s brand is one higher than MJ’s. After all, McDonalds is much larger and more popular than Ruth’s Chris or Mortons.
