BBC HD television channel
Following the news that Ofcom has given the go ahead for BBC HD, now as expected the BBC Trust has provisionally approved proposals for the BBC HD television channel.

The BBC Trust conclusions will now be subject to a four week “consultation period” and they are expected to publish their final decision by the 21st of November.

You may have seen the trial of the BBC HD channel on your satellite or cable service, but a condition states that the high definition channel should also be “ideally be accessible” to Freeview when it launches and it “Must” be available on Freesat.

This does make me laugh, as we pay our TV license for the BBC channels and not ITV and they say that the BBC HD channel should “ideally be accessible” to Freeview.

That’s a joke as we pay for it and they say it “Must” be on Freesat.
