A Man Dies At A Smashing Pumpkins Gig In Vancouver

A man in his twenty’s has sadly died at a Smashing Pumpkins gig in Vancouver.

He was said to have been pulled unconscious from the mosh-pit at the city’s PNE Forum after he was believed to have been crowd-surfing.

First aid staff attempted to resuscitate him by the stage before he was taken to a local hospital, where he later died.

PNE’s media relations officer Laura Balance said that crowd-surfing is allowed at the venue but is “discouraged” by security staff.

We don’t yet know what lead to his death.
